Belleville assigns Murray to Brampton

The Belleville Senators have assigned defenceman Jordan Murray to the ECHL’s Brampton Beast.

The Riverview, NB., native, has one assist in three games this season with the Sens. In eight career AHL games, he has a goal and two assists.

Murray, 24, collected two USports national titles in back-to-back years to close out his collegiate career with UNB where he piled up 111 points (34 goals) over the course of 111 games during his four-year stint with the Varsity Reds and won back-to-back USports Defenceman of the Year awards while also making three straight USports All-Canadian First Teams.

He has yet to appear in an ECHL game.
