Englund and Taylor reassigned to Belleville



The Ottawa Senators have reassigned goaltender Danny Taylor and defenceman Andreas Englund to the Belleville Senators.

Taylor started Ottawa’s final game of the season Saturday making 30 saves in a 5-2 loss to the Boston Bruins. In 32 games with Belleville, Taylor is 11-15-1 with a .900 save percentage and one shutout.

Englund also played in Ottawa’s season finale, his first appearance in the NHL this season. In 66 games with Belleville, the Swede has a goal and nine assists.

Both Taylor and Englund will be available for the Senators’ final three games of the season beginning Friday.
