Ottawa reassigns Chabot back to Belleville

Defenceman Thomas Chabot has been reassigned to the Belleville Senators by the Ottawa Senators.

The 20-year-old appeared in three games with Ottawa and recorded his first career NHL point on Oct. 13 against Calgary before adding another assist the following night against Edmonton.

In two games with Belleville, Chabot had a goal and an assist. His lone goal, the first of his professional career, was also the first goal in Belleville Senators franchise history.

In a corresponding move, Cody Donaghey was re-assigned to the ECHL’s Brampton Beast.

The Senators return to action Friday night as they face the Hartford Wolfpack at 7:15pm, the first of three games in three nights in three different states.
