Petgrave released from professional tryout agreement



The Belleville Senators have released defenceman Matt Petgrave from his professional tryout agreement.

Petgrave, 26, played in one game for Belleville on March 10 in a win against the Laval Rocket. He’s also played in five games for the Rocket.

The Brampton native will head back to the ECHL’s Brampton Beast where he’s tallied seven goals and 21 points in 41 games this season.
