Senators ink Doornbosch to a PTO



The Belleville Senators have signed defenceman Jamie Doornbosch to a professional tryout agreement.

The 27-year-old has previous experience in the Sens organization having played in eight games with the Binghamton Senators last season.

Doornbosch has played in two AHL games this season with Bakersfield where he had an assist. He’s spent the majority of the year in the ECHL with the Wichita Thunder where he has a goal and seven assists in 17 games.

During the 2010-11 season, Doornbosch made his NHL debut where he played in one game with the New York Islanders.
