White returns from injury to join Belleville



Forward Colin White has been assigned to the Belleville Senators after recovering from injury.

White suffered a broken wrist injury during the Ottawa Senators’ preseason on Sept. 19 and has been out of action since.

The 20-year-old made his pro debut last season, playing in three AHL games, scoring a goal and adding two assists, as well as making his NHL debut with Ottawa where he appeared in two regular season games and one playoff contest.

The former Boston College standout helped the USA win the gold medal at the 2017 World Juniors after beating Canada 5-4 in a shootout while he also won a bronze medal at the 2016 tournament. During his two years with Boston College, White tallied 76 points (35 goals) in 72 games.
