Batherson recalled by Ottawa

Update: Ottawa reassigned Batherson back to Belleville Friday morning after he had an assist in Thursday’s 4-2 loss to Edmonton.

The Ottawa Senators have recalled forward Drake Batherson from the Belleville Senators.

Batherson leads all AHL rookies in scoring with 49 points this season. His 18 goals are second most on the team while his 31 assists lead Belleville.

The 20-year-old has also played 19 games for Ottawa where he has three goals and eight points.
