Chlapik and McCormick return to Belleville

Forwards Max McCormick and Filip Chlapik have been reassigned to the Belleville Senators by Ottawa.

Chlapik made his NHL debut Thursday night where he recorded an assist in Ottawa’s 5-4 win over the Flyers. McCormick has appeared in two games for Ottawa this season without recording a point.

At the AHL level, Chlapik has three assists in sevens games this season with Belleville while McCormick has a goal and two assists in six contests.

Both Chlapik and McCormick will be available for tonight’s match-up with the Manitoba Moose from Winnipeg.
