Colorado reassigns Hammond to Belleville

The Colorado Avalanche have reassigned goaltender Andrew Hammond to the Belleville Senators.

Hammond has been with Colorado since Jan.11 but failed to play in a game for the Avalanche.

In 18 games with Belleville, Hammond is 8-6-2 with a .900 save percentage and a 3.34 GAA.

Hammond will not join the Senators on their trip to Binghamton and Bridgeport this weekend.
