Hammond returns to Belleville

Goaltender Andrew Hammond has been reassigned to the Belleville Senators by the Colorado Avalanche.

In two call-ups to the Avalanche, Hammond has still yet to play for Colorado.

Hammond was traded to Colorado on Nov. 5 as part of the Ottawa Senators’ acquisition of Matt Duchene but was loaned back to Belleville.

In 17 games this year with Belleville, Hammond is 7-6-2 with a 3.44 GAA and a .899 save percentage.
