Belleville Sens join Tim Horton’s Smile Cookie Campaign in support of YMCA Centre for Life

Local Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaigns are underway around the Quinte Region, and the Belleville Senators are jumping on board to help decorate some tasty treats and raise money for a critical community organization.

Senators’ mascot Belly and members of the Sens staff will be at the Tim Hortons’ location at 161 Bridge Street West in Belleville tomorrow, decorating Smile Cookies to be sold in support of the YMCA of Central East Ontario’s new Centre for Life. The soon-to-be-built facility, with a cost of nearly $30 million, is planned for the former Quinte Exhibition and Raceway grounds and will replace the aging Belleville YMCA facility in the city’s east end. It’s slated to open in 2026.

“We’re proud to be once again part of the Tim Horton’s Smile Cookie Campaign, this year supporting the YMCA of Central East Ontario Centre for Life,” said Belleville Sens Vice President of Business Operations John Mathers. “Community is at the heart of everything we do, and it makes sense to join our partners at ‘Tim’s’ to support the local ‘Y’ in a fun and meaningful way, to give back and help create brighter futures for children and families across the Quinte Region.” 

While the Belleville Tim Horton’s restaurants are supporting the local YMCA, other local smile cookie campaigns are supporting Hospice Quinte (Quinte West) and the Hastings & Prince Edward Learning Foundation (Madoc & Marmora).
