Belleville Sens announce 2023-24 regular season schedule

The Belleville Senators are thrilled to announce today, in conjunction with the American Hockey League, the schedule for the 2023-24 regular season. The Sens will open the new campaign on Saturday October 14, 2023, when they visit the defending Calder Cup Champion Hershey Bears at Giant Center. The Senators will then travel to play at Lehigh Valley on Sunday October 13, before returning to Belleville for the 2023-24 Home Opener presented by CAA, on Saturday October 21, at CAA Arena.

In total, the Belleville Sens will play 72 games this season (36 home games and 36 road games), with matchups against 15 different opponents as follows:

The 2023-24 regular season schedule concludes when the Senators visit the Laval Rocket, at Place Bell, on Saturday April 20, 2024, with the Calder Cup Playoffs to follow.

Schedule Highlights:

  • This is the first time in franchise history the Senators have not opened their season against Laval
  • Longest home stand: 4 games (October 21 to October 28 & March 16 to March 24)
  • Longest road stretch: 5 games (January 24 to February 3rd)
  • Busiest month: December, February, March (12 games each)
  • Busiest home month: December, March (7 games each)
  • Busiest road month: January (8 games)
  • Schedule breakdown by division: North (50), Atlantic (12), Central (10)
  • Belleville will play Grand Rapids for the first time since the 2019-20 season
  • Belleville will play Hartford for the first time since the 2021-22 season
  • Belleville will play 4 afternoon home games, all with 2:00 p.m. starts: Sunday November 12 vs Cleveland, Sunday January 14 vs Toronto, Monday February 19 vs Hershey, Sunday March 24 vs Hartford.

The Belleville Senators are the American Hockey League affiliate of the National Hockey Leagues’ Ottawa Senators and have been operating in the AHL since the 2017-18 season. The Senators play their home games out of the CAA Arena at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre and have graduated more than 60 players to the NHL since moving from Binghamton, New York.
