Press Release Share this Belleville Sens to host Pride Night presented by Magna Autosystems February 1, 2023 The Belleville Senators and Magna Autosystems are excited to announce details for this season’s Pride Night game. As part of the team’s ongoing commitment to support the LGBTQ+ community and further the spirit of diversity and inclusion in hockey, the Sens will celebrate Pride Night on Saturday, February 18, when the Laval Rocket (Montreal Canadiens) visit CAA Arena. The first 2,000 fans to the game that night will receive a free Pride drink koozie, with the Sens also hosting several LGBTQ+-friendly and inclusive local businesses and organizations through the concourse at CAA Arena. Those businesses and organizations, include SERNA Custom Artwork, and the Enrichment Centre, with members of Bay of Quinte Pride on hand selling rainbow flags and “Pride bling” to support the cause. “Magna Autosystems is proud to focus on diversity and inclusion of all, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or other aspects of who we are,” said Leanne Shaw, Magna Autosystems Manager, Human Resources. “We are proud to support this event and allow everyone to embrace their true self – #MagnaPride.” Prior to the game, the night kicks off with a pre-game Drag Dinner in McFarland’s Pub, presented by the Grind & Vine, and hosted by Drag Queen Rowenawhey.
