Belleville Sens and Sugar Mama’s Bake Shoppe partner to provide the ultimate birthday party

Is there someone in your life that is a big fan of the Belleville Senators? Why not make their birthday one to remember featuring beloved mascot Belly?

The Senators, in partnership with a local bakery Sugar Mama’s Bake Shoppe, are excited to help provide the ultimate birthday experience this season.

“Sugar Mama’s Bake Shoppe is proud to partner with Belly’s Birthday Club this year to offer sweet treats for parties,” said Krysten Bonisteel. “We were approached this year and couldn’t pass up a community partnership with the Senators! It has been a positive, fruitful venture for our small business, and we are gaining orders by the day for Belly’s Birthday parties! We look forward to this venture with the Belleville Senators for many years to come; supporting one another in our hometown is an important part of being a community, and we look forward to the many celebrations we team up on this year! Go Sens Go!”

Belly’s Birthday Club allows party groups the opportunity to enjoy their celebration with all the regular fanfare of an American Hockey League game at CAA Arena. Attendees will receive a package that includes special invitations, loot bags on game day, exclusive access to in-game events, cupcakes from Sugar Mama’s Bake Shoppe, and small popcorn/drink vouchers. The birthday celebrant will also receive a limited-edition t-shirt and a birthday welcome on the video board in-game. The whole group will also receive a visit from Belly.

The early responses to the activation have been tremendous. Ashley Greer was thrilled with the event the club provided for her son’s birthday and says it is sure to be a night they won’t soon forget.

“Our experience with the Belly’s Birthday Club was more than we could have imagined. The team at the Sens took care of everything for us, including invitations, cupcakes, and loot bags for each child. Ben [Cochrane, Manager, Business Operations] was readily available to answer any of my questions and accommodate some last-minute changes. On the night of the game, we were blown away by the attention to detail. We had amazing seats, great snacks, and an awesome time! The kids were on cloud nine throughout the game, used items from their loot bags during the game, and were so excited to see their friend’s name up on the jumbo screen. We will definitely be back for more birthdays!”
