Share this Weekly Recap: Belleville Sens continue busy stretch of divisional games November 21, 2022 The Belleville Senators’ busy stretch of 15 straight divisional games continues this week when they visit the Utica Comets (Wednesday) before hosting the Laval Rocket at CAA Arena on both Friday and Saturday nights for Carpenters Union Night and Teddy Bear Toss Night, respectively. LAST WEEK’S RESULTS: Wednesday, Nov. 16: Belleville 6 vs Cleveland 1 Jake Lucchini, Egor Sokolov and Rourke Chartier all scored in the shootout as the Belleville Senators outlasted the Cleveland Monsters in an 8-7 offensive thriller. In total, six Senators collected multi-point games, led by rookie centreman Ridly Greig’s three-point performance, while netminder Logan Flodell collected his first career AHL win. Friday, Nov. 18: Belleville 6 vs Toronto 1 The AHL Senators’ most complete effort of the season led to a dominant victory over their provincial rivals. After a scoreless opening frame, Belleville found the back of the net four times in the second period en route to the 6-1 win. Saturday, Nov. 19: Belleville 4 vs Syracuse 5 A slow start hindered the Senators as they couldn’t complete the comeback against the Crunch in their lone loss of the week after Syracuse built a 4-0 lead before the 9:03 mark of the first frame. Belleville was able to bring the score to within late in the second stanza. However, that was the closest they would get to even the contest.
