Press Release Women in Hockey Night Share this Belleville Sens announce details for Women in Hockey Night January 3, 2023 The Belleville Senators will host their annual Women in Hockey Night on Saturday, January 7, when the team takes on the Manitoba Moose at CAA Arena as the organization continues in their support and advocacy for equality in sport. The event also includes special guest appearances from Canadian national team forward Victoria Bach, 2X World Inline Champion Jackie Jarrell and local author of Hockey Moms: The Heart of the Game, Theresa Bailey. “Women in Hockey Night is a crucial initiative for our organization and the American Hockey League,” said Belleville Sens Senior Vice President of Business Operations Breanne Matthews. “ We need to continue to help support and highlight the successes of women in hockey while working to advocate for equality in sport.” As part of the festivities, Bach, Jarrell and Bailey will speak at an exclusive event from 5-6 pm in the multi purpose room in the Quinte Wellness Sports Centre. Fans attending the game will also have a chance to meet them and receive autographs during the first intermission. The game will feature a CAA Chuck-A-Puck in support of the Belleville Bearcats Girls Hockey Association and a special pregame ceremonial puck drop.
