Belleville Sens offence breaks out in 7-3 win over Amerks

October 28, 2021

Jacob Bernard-Docker opened the scoring with the first two goals of his AHL career Wednesday night and the Belleville Senators never looked back, defeating the Rochester Americans 7-3 at CAA Arena.

Andrew Agozzino, Colby Williams, Egor Sokolov (2), and Jake Lucchini also scored for Belleville, while Kevin Mandolese turned aside 30 shots in his second consecutive start. Parker Kelly made his season debut, and Maxence Guenette collected his first career AHL point.

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen made 23 saves in defeat, Lukas Craggs, Michael Mersch, and Mason Jobst scored for the visitors.

Belleville ended a two-game home losing skid in which the team only managed to score once in back-to-back losses to Cleveland, but the Senators put to bed any doubts of their offensive prowess tonight. None more significant than Egor Sokolov, who threw the monkey off his back, tallying four points on the evening, earning the game’s first-star honours. Fourteen Senators added at least one point.

The Belleville Senators conclude their five-game homestand, hosting the Toronto Marlies, for a 7:00 PM puck drop on Friday, October 29th.

Single-game tickets can be purchased via Ticketmaster by stopping by the CAA Arena Box Office. Season Ticket Memberships and Flex Packs are also available, with more information available at
