BSEN Summer Skate 2026: Forward Oskar Pettersson

2025-26 was another consistent year for Senators forward Oskar Pettersson.

After winning the Jonathan Pitre Memorial Award at Ottawa Senators Development Camp last spring, the 22-year-old from Halmstad, Sweden, equalled his 2024-25 goal total (nine) last season and tacked on nine assists as well, as he continues to adjust to the North American game and grow into a solid two-way player.

A third-round draft pick to Ottawa in 2022 (72nd overall), Pettersson chatted with the Belleville Sens Entertainment Network from his home in Sweden about his career development, offseason training and plans, and the big season that lies ahead in 2026-27.
