WEEKLY RECAP Share this Weekly Recap: Belleville Sens hit the road December 6, 2022 After concluding their first three-in-three weekend of the season, the Belleville Senators will hit the road for five straight games, starting against North Division rivals, the Toronto Marlies, this Wednesday before a pair of games at Place Bell against the Laval Rocket on Friday and Saturday. LAST WEEK’S RESULTS: Friday, Dec.2: Belleville 6 vs Syracuse 4 A Jarid Lukosevicius hat trick helped pace the Senators to a 6-4 come-from-behind victory over the Syracuse Crunch to begin the week impressively. Rookie forward Matthew Boucher collected three assists, while Antoine Bibeau made 35 saves to help secure the win. Saturday, Dec. 3: Belleville 3 vs Utica 7 Despite firing a season-high 46 shots on Nico Daws, Belleville was unable to overcome an early 4-0 deficit as they would ultimately fall 7-3 to the Utica Comets. The Senators saw offensive contributions from Rourke Chartier, Angus Crookshank, and Egor Sokolov, all found the back of the net. Sunday, Dec.4: Belleville 1 at Toronto 3 Another early deficit haunted the Senators as they ended their busy weekend with a difficult 3-1 loss on Sunday afternoon. However, the Senators avoided being shutout as Jarid Lukosevicius continued his strong week, beating Joseph Woll with a backhander at the 4:03 mark of the third stanza.
