WEEKLY RECAP Share this Weekly Recap: Belleville Sens prepare for three-in-three weekend November 28, 2022 After an emphatic 4-1 win over the Laval Rocket to close out last week, the Belleville Senators are quickly turning their attention to this weekend’s three-in-three. The Senators will square off against the Syracuse Crunch (Friday) and Utica Comets (Saturday) at CAA Arena before visiting their provincial rivals, the Toronto Marlies, on Sunday afternoon. LAST WEEK’S RESULTS: Wednesday, Nov. 23: Belleville 2 at Utica 3 Despite a late push that saw Rourke Chartier collect his tenth of the campaign with an extra attacker on the ice, the Senators were left looking for an equalizer at Adirondack Bank Center as they fell 3-2 to the Utica Comets in a hard-fought game to begin the week. Friday, Nov. 25 : Belleville 5 vs Laval 7 The Belleville Senators could not keep pace with the Laval Rocket in a high-scoring affair on Friday, which saw the two sides combine for a staggering 12 goals. In total, thirteen different Senators found themselves on the scoresheet. Saturday, Nov. 26: Belleville 4 vs Laval 1 Antoine Bibeau made a career-high 49 saves, helping backstop the Senators to a 4-1 win on Teddy Bear Toss Night. Belleville also dominated the special teams battle on the night as Angus Crookshank tallied on the powerplay, and Cole Reinhardt found the back of the net while shorthanded before Scott Sabourin secured the victory with a long-range goal into an empty net.
