Weekly Recap: Belleville Sens return home in playoff position

March 21, 2023

The Belleville Senators’ push for the Calder Cup playoffs continues this week at CAA Arena as they welcome the Bridgeport Islanders (New York Islanders) on Friday before hosting the Milwaukee Admirals (Nashville Predators) Saturday for History of Hockey Night, which will celebrate the legacy of the Belleville Bulls. Here’s a recap of the action from the past week.

LAST WEEK’S RESULTS

Wednesday, March 15: Belleville 4 vs Utica 3

A late winner from Lassi Thomson and a four-assist effort from Cole Cassels lifted the Belleville Senators to a tightly contested victory over the Utica Comets. Netminder Dylan Ferguson made 26 saves in the win, while Jake Lucchini, Jacob Bernard-Docker and Roby Jarventie would also found the back of the net.

Saturday, March 18: Belleville 4 at Cleveland 1
