Belleville Senators launch inaugural summer hockey camp

June 5, 2025

At their core, the American Hockey League and the Belleville Senators are all about development. The Senators are taking that philosophy of development to the grassroots level for the first time this summer, launching the inaugural Belleville Sens Hockey Camp!

Led by Belleville Sens Head Coach Dave Bell, the program is designed for proficient skating players born between 2015 and 2017 and will offer a unique blend of high-level instruction and pro-style, behind-the-scenes experiences. The Belleville Sens Hockey Camp will run daily from Monday, August 18, to Friday, August 22, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on the ice at CAA Arena.

“I’m excited to lead the inaugural Belleville Sens Hockey camp,” said Bell. “It is so refreshing and rewarding to watch young girls and boys gain confidence on the ice and fall in love with our great sport. It’s going to be a fun-filled week, and I can’t wait to see you on the ice!”

Players will receive two hours of on-ice training with American Hockey League coaches and players, along with other off-ice programs and experiences inside the Belleville Sens dressing room and training complex. Players will also be provided with their own Belleville Sens-branded jersey, with a hot lunch and snacks provided daily.

“A summer hockey camp is something we’ve had in the works for some time and fans have been asking for, and as a key piece of the Bay of Quinte hockey community, we’re proud to be able to offer that experience to developing players this year,” said Belleville Sens Vice President of Business Operations John Mathers. “Our hockey operations staff is among the best in the American Hockey League, and we’re looking forward to providing a first-class experience here at CAA Arena in a couple of months.”

There are just 22 spots available for skaters ($825 for the week) and four (4) for goaltenders ($400 for the week), and they’re spaces will expected to fill up fast. Click here to sign up now and be a part of this exciting new offering for aspiring young players!
