Be sure to check back daily and follow along via the club’s social media feeds (@BellevilleSens)! Moments with Belly Belleville Sens Mascot Belly is always one of the stars of the show at CAA Arena, bringing the fun and energy, and handing out the best high-fives in the AHL! Here are some of Belleville Sen fans’ favourite moments with the beloved, furry, red ball of energy, Belly! Fans’ Voice: “My Favourite moment: Belly is awesome so fun and engaging with fans!” – Janice “Some personal highlights, spent my birthday at the game and spent the game in the party box suites, got my first jersey and got it signed at the red carpet events, the open practices were extremely fun and it was cool just to see the boys having fun.” – Jesse . Malcolm Subban’s Return to the Friendly City Malcolm Subban (and the whole Subban family) have always been popular in Belleville and the Bay of Quinte since the goaltender and his brothers, PK and Jordan, suited up for the former Belleville Bulls of the Ontario Hockey League in their junior days. But Malcolm’s stardom in the Bay of Quinte Region grew further when he returned to his junior home on an American Hockey League contract this season to help solidify the Senators’ crease. Subban would go on to make 24 appearances for Belleville Sens in 2024-25, with an 11-6-5 record, 3.13 goals against average, and 0.883 save percentage. Fans’ Voice: “Reuniting with our old friend Malcolm and our kiddos first B-Sens game. My husband (Ryan Bennett) and I are former employees of the Belleville Bulls and during our time, had the pleasure of working with all three of the Subban brothers. We were thrilled to finally get to the last game of the 24/25 season and caught up with Malcolm before the game. We brought along his old Bulls trapper that my daughter had her newborn photos taken in (12yrs ago!), and my son (7) actually sleeps with it as he is a goalie too. They were stoked to finally meet him in person, and of course he signed his old mitt. As always, Malcolm is a class act and we always appreciate his generosity and time.” – Sarah “Malcolm Subban’s first win as a Belleville Senator and first star honours. So great to see him put on a Belleville Jersey again after a stellar OHL career with the Belleville Bulls. It’s hard to imagine where the Senators season would have been without him, during 2024/25. The tandem of Merilainen/Subban was arguably the best in the league, and a pleasure to watch.” – Wayne Stephen Halliday’s Fan Appreciation Game Tying Goal The Senators may have been eliminated from the Calder Cup Playoffs with a couple of games left in the regular season, but their effort and work ethic, and the raucous support of Belleville Sens’ fans didn’t stop until the final buzzer on Saturday, April 19, 2025. That was no more evident than when rookie forward Stephen Halliday (who led the Senators in scoring during the season and finished among the top rookies in the American Hockey League) scored twice in the final minute of the period to tie the final game of the regular season and sent it to overtime. Fans’ Voice: “My favourite memory of this Belleville Senators season is in the fan appreciation game and Halliday scored the tying goal and he came over to me and My Dad and fist bumped the glass right at us!” – Clara “We had an amazing time at the last game, first time we had been, and we can’t wait for the next season to go! My son is a huge Senators fan!” Meeting The Players One of the best parts of the American Hockey League is the accessibility of the product and its players, with the Belleville Sens regularly making visits in the community and interacting with fans around CAA Arena. That accessibility is even better as a season seat member, with more exclusive events and meet-and-greet opportunities. Here’s what some Belleville Sens fans had to say about meeting their favourite players during the 2024-25 campaign: “Having the opportunity to meet the players at the intermission signing line is priceless. It builds a strong fan base when the youth in the crowd can meet and get photos with their hockey heroes.” – Ryan “My son was amazed to meet his favourite players. He still talks about it and can’t wait for next season. The players make it so special when they take the time to talk to their fans, not sure the positive impact they have on youth.” – Sonia “A highlight for us was meeting Mads Soggard at the last game of the season. He was so kind and stopped to chat with the kids and it was such a cool moment for them! ” – Rebecca Check back every day this week to see what other fan moments we’re checking back on from this past season! 2025-26 Belleville Sens Season Seat Memberships are on sale now by contacting the Belleville Sens office at 613-967-8067, emailing tickets@bellevillesens.com, or visiting the Belleville Sens website. — Visit the Belleville Sens website: www.bellevillesens.com Engage with the Belleville Sens on Twitter: @BellevilleSens Like the Belleville Sens on Facebook: www.facebook.com/BellevilleSens Follow the Belleville Sens on Instagram: @BellevilleSens Listen to the Belleville Sens on Mixlr: www.bellevillesens.mixlr.com
