LAST WEEK’S RESULTS: Wednesday, November 29, 2023: Belleville Senators – 6 @ Utica Comets – 3 The Belleville Senators used a well-rounded effort, including six different goal scorers, to help them beat the Utica Comets 6-3 on Wednesday night and end their five-game losing skid. Lassi Thomson, Roby Jarventie, Matthew Boucher, Angus Crookshank, Garrett Pilon and Dillon Heatherington all scored for Belleville, while Mads Sogaard made 33 saves on 36 shots. GAME RECAP | BOX SCORE Friday, December 1, 2023: Belleville Senators – 2 vs Rochester Americans – 3 (SO) The Belleville Senators earned a point for the third time in four games, dropping a 3-2 shootout decision to the Rochester Americans, at CAA Arena on Friday night. Belleville’s goals were scored by Angus Crookshank and Garrett Pilon, with Mads Sogaard making 29 saves on 31 shots. GAME RECAP | BOX SCORE Saturday, December 2, 2023: Belleville Senators – 4 vs Rochester Americans – 2 The Belleville Senators completed a two-game set with the division rival Rochester Americans and got some payback following Friday’s shootout loss, by knocking off the Amerks 4-2 at CAA Arena on Saturday night. Zack Ostapchuk scored twice for the Senators, to record his first career multi-goal game, while Egor Soklov and Roby Jarventie also tallied, and Kevin Mandolese stopped 22/24 shots to earn his first win of the season.
