Weekly Recap: Sens face plenty of adversity in Pennsylvania

October 28, 2026

The Belleville Senators have crossed the 10-game plateau in 2026-27, completing a three-game road trip through Pennsylvania, and snagging  two points over their stops in Wilkes-Barre, Hershey, and Allentown.

Belleville’s offence continued to fire in a convincing win over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (AHL Affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins) on Friday, before they lost close decisions on Saturday against the Hershey Bears (AHL Affiliate of the Washington Capitals), and Sunday against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL Affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers).

Here’s a recap of the action, as Belleville prepares to defend home ice at CIBC Place for their next four games.

Friday, October 23, 2026: Belleville Senators – 7 @ Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins – 3

Belleville’s offence struck early and often in Wilkes-Barre on Friday night, en route to a Senators 7-3 win over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. Phil Tomasino led the Belleville attack with four points (one goal, three assists), while Tyler Boucher tallied twice; Xavier Bourgault, Shane Bowers, Sammy Blais, and Djibril Toure also scored. Jackson Parsons earned his first win of the season in goal, stopping 32 of 35 shots.

Phil Daoust scored early in the first and Phil Tomasino tallied early in the second, but Hershey would rattle off five consecutive goals, including two empty-netters, to round out the night’s offence.
