Belleville Sens announce 2025-26 opening night roster

October 11, 2025

The Belleville Senators are excited to announce the club’s 24-player roster for opening night of the 2025-26 American Hockey League season.

The Senators’ roster to open their ninth AHL season is comprised of 14 forwards, eight defencemen, and two goaltenders. Fifteen players are returning from last season, with seven players joining Belleville for the first time, and two coming back to the organization after playing in junior or overseas. The roster also includes four rookies.

In finalizing the roster, the Senators assigned forward Danny Katic and goaltender Jackson Parsons to the club’s ECHL affiliate in Allen, Texas, last week, and signed defender Scott Harrington to a two-year AHL contract on Friday.

Belleville will once again be captained by forward Garrett Pilon, who returns for his third season in the Friendly City. Head Coach Dave Bell plans to announce the rest of his leadership group next week, when the club returns from its season-opening road trip against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms tonight and Bridgeport Islanders tomorrow.
