It’s not too early to book exciting group experiences for the 2023-24 season

May 16, 2023

The Belleville Senators are always seeking to provide memorable in-game experiences that resonate with fans, and even though the 2023-24 season is a few months away, you can already be one of the first to lock down an experience for you and your group!

The American Hockey League and Belleville Senators have announced six guaranteed home dates for the upcoming campaignwhich begins in October. These dates include fan-favourite special promotions that have become extremely popular with Sens fans in the Bay of Quinte Region and beyond.

Belleville Senators Director of Ticket Sales & Service, Alex Pickford, is excited about the slate of events the franchise has already planned for next season.

“As an organization, we always cherish these events. Our goal is to keep creating memories, and that’s what we did this past year. We received a lot of positive feedback, especially with a lot of our group experiences. We’ll continue to build on that to ensure an even better experience for everybody, and we’re excited about it.”

Pickford says those guaranteed dates start with a couple of important events to welcome back fans and students to CAA Arena, with the Home Opener presented by CAA on Saturday, October 21 and Student Night presented by Loyalist College on Friday, October 27.

“The Bay of Quinte region is at the heart of all these promotional nights,” Pickford said. “From the positive energy of the beginning of a new season, at our home opener, to the meaningful connections we are able to make at our Loyalist College Student Night.”

Pickford is also particularly enthused that these dates demonstrate the commitment the organization has to support and celebrate their community in both innovative and exciting ways, with a couple of essential community-based promotional nights in November, including Military Appreciation Night on Friday, November 10 and Hockey Fights Cancer Night on Saturday, November 18.

“Our Military Appreciation game speaks for itself, with our close community ties to CFB Trenton,” Pickford said . “There is no question that our fan base shares a special connection with the brave men and women of our armed forces. He added that  “Hockey Fights Cancer is another great initiative that we are able to run yearly in conjunction with the American Hockey League. Everyone knows someone that cancer has affected. So it drives home a connection with us both as staff and the whole region, all while helping to support the Belleville General Hospital Foundation.”

The Senators will also ring in the holiday season in style once December rolls around, with the annual Teddy Bear Toss on Saturday, December 9, and the Holiday Celebration Game on Friday, December 22.

“We’re excited to begin an active month of December with a fan favourite community initiative, as we hold our annual Teddy Bear Toss game, with the donations being directed to the Belleville Firefighters Toy Drive,” Pickford said. “At the same time, our holiday game allows everyone to get into the festive spirit in a safe and friendly environment. Whether it is bringing out your work party or having a fun time enjoying a hockey game with your family, this night is a perfect opportunity to celebrate.”
