LAST WEEK’S RESULTS: Friday, April 14: Belleville 7 at Rochester 4 A hat-trick performance from Rourke Chartier paced the Belleville Senators as they defeated the Rochester Americans 7-4 on Friday night at Blue Cross Arena. Belleville also received goal contributions from Cole Cassels, Egor Sokolov, Roby Jarventie, and Angus Crookshank, while Leevi Meriläinen made 22 saves in the win. Saturday, April 15: Belleville 7 at Toronto 2 A master class on special teams saw the Belleville Senators set a new single-game franchise record with five power play markers en route to a 7-2 victory over the Toronto Marlies on Saturday afternoon at Coca-Cola Coliseum. In net, Dylan Ferguson turned aside 29 shots, while Jake Lucchini, Egor Sokolov, Rourke Chartier, Ridly Greig Maxence Guenette, Cole Reinhardt and Roby Jarventie all found the back of the net. Sunday, April 16: Belleville 2 at Toronto 7 Despite a solid effort and an 8-for-9 showing on the penalty kill, the Senators would close out their season with a tough loss to the Marlies.
